Brenda Lynn Bynum
PRODUCER | WRITER | DIRECTOR
An optioned screenwriter, Brenda Lynn Bynum serves as the Artistic Director of the Oasis Theatre Company for many years where she converted 4 spaces into black box theaters, produced and directed 125+ plays and 9 short films. As a screenwriter, she attended 2 UCLA Advanced Professional TV Writing programs and worked at Pocket FM where her original audio series has more than 6.1 million reads. The position taught her the ins and outs of great cliffhangers and binge-worthy endings. Her scripts are technically dramas sprinkled with humor about self-imposed exiles who take a societal “No” and transform it into their own vision of “Yes.” And she loves to explore that time-tested phrase, opposites attract, because she lives it every day.
She is currently producing her screwball comedy set in the New Mexico wine country titled MISSION BLEND, and is writing an adaptation of Shakespeare's A Midsummer Night's Dream set in the world of high school lacrosse and a reboot inspired by Roman Holiday set in the pop music world.

James Jenner
PRODUCER
James spent many years in the retail wine business learning from the ground up the different varietals and processes of making wine. And, most importantly, the impact that terroir has on making a great bottle of wine.
After training at the London Academy of Music and Dramatic Art (LAMDA ), Jim returned to the States to work regionally at Arena Stage, Delaware Rep, and Pan Asian Rep. In 1988, he co-founded The Oasis Theatre Company with Brenda Lynn Bynum, where he performed in almost all of the productions, usually in the title role, such as King Lear, Hamlet, and The Misanthrope. He is eternally grateful to have had the honor of portraying kings, beggars, crooks, savants, and harlequins in the East Village of NYC, upstate NY, and currently in our new home in Corrales, New Mexico. In addition, he has interviewed and recorded teachings of Maya elders in Guatemala. With Recorded Books and Brick Shop Audio, Jim has recorded more than 80 fiction and non-fiction books.
Mission Blend has been a lifelong dream of his, and he is excited for it to come to fruition. Pun intended.
